This is probably the first review I've written in a long time that I want to give more than 5 stars. This lens is without a doubt the best lens I have ever attached to my camera. I have 24-70 2.8, 70-200 2.8, 28mm 1.8, 50mm 1.8 and have had a few others recently. For a professional photographer, lenses are key. I took this new lens out for the first time last night and was blown away by the quality of the images it produced. My other lens I used last night was a 24-70 2.8 and it doesn't compare to that, although on its own it's a great, great lens. I can't say enough good things about it. Strangely, before the photo shoot last night, I thought about reverting it to 85mm 1.8. At 1/3 the price I wondered if it was worth the difference. I've never shot at 1.8 but I don't think I'll ever get rid of this lens after seeing the results. Wow. Buy this if you have the means! Even if you don't, find a way to get them so you can! :)
