Great console ate. I will not list the general advantages for all revisions (for example, games or functionality), so I will only go through the differences from previous Switch revisions. Screen: I doubted that it was worth overpaying for the OLED version - and, yes, definitely worth it. Previously, there was a Switch of the first revision and the difference in the screens between them is simply colossal in all respects. Due to the change in the type of matrix and a slight increase in screen size, the OLED version feels much nicer. Appearance: New docking station design. Due to the increase in the gap between the walls of the dock, it is almost impossible to scratch the console screen when placing it in the dock (the old Switch, at least the first revision, suffered from such a problem). The leg behind the console has finally become comfortable (across the entire width of the case) and has ceased to be a useless piece of plastic as in the old revisions. Reduced the screen bezels, which improved the appearance. Sound: The sound from the speakers has become denser and clearer, the console sounds definitely better than the old revision. The volume reserve is sufficient. Autonomy: I can’t compare with the second revision, but compared to the first revision of the Switch, OLED lasts 2-3 hours longer (depending on the game), which is critical for a portable console. As a result, the Switch is still (for more than 5 years) the best real portable console on the market (the monstrous Steam Deck language cannot be called portable, with all due respect) and there are no competitors for the next few years. As for the iron part, of course, the console is already rather outdated, so taking the Switch only to go through ports that are greatly reduced in terms of graphics from "large consoles" is not the best idea. But this minus is completely leveled by excellent Nintendo exclusives, of which there are more than enough every year. The console may well fit as the main and only device for games (depending on preferences for games, of course), but the ideal option, in my opinion, is to buy it in addition to the already existing PS / Xbox / PC.
