Review on πŸ“Έ Yongnuo YN560 IV Speedlite Flash: Master Wireless Function Support for Enhanced Photography by Wagner Witlin

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Best value for money for flash photography.

As a professional commercial photographer, I was skeptical about using anything other than Nikon Speedlights for professional work, but I needed something lightweight that I could take with me on free shoots (promotional photos for a local theater company) that I set up the output quickly and control it remotely. I started with two YN560-III and they worked great with 603 triggers. Then I bought a YN560-TX and my life was instantly better. I no longer had to run to each flash and set the power - I could just do it from the camera. Now I use Yongnuo flashes like regular flashes, even for professional work. I still have my Nikons when I need TTL (I rarely use TTL - only for event photography) and my big studio flashes when the job calls for them, but Yongnuos are the first ones I set up 90% of the time. In fact, I'm seriously considering trading in my old Calumet Travelites for a set of flashes that I can adjust the power over the air like I can with Yongnuo. I will say that most of the time in the world of photography you get what you want. numbers, but these outbreaks are the exception to the rule. They are by no means perfect, but with a little care and time deciphering the instructions, these flashes work very well.
