Great flash! in Camera and Photo

This is a great flash for any camera! On the advice of a major camera seller, I pay 3x the price for a lower quality flash! I would highly recommend this flash, especially for the fast shipping!

Great value! in Flashes

I bought 2 of these flashes for real estate photography on the recommendation of Nathan Cool. Together with Cactus triggers and Revain light stands they are just perfect. Turned my Sony A7RIII on or off, great performance!

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Flimsy

Unusable after a few months.

The product itself is excellent value for money. I like the Yongnuo line. However, this particular item I purchased has had intermittent issues with the internal triggering system that only surfaced after a few months of purchase and I was unable to contact anyone willing to help when I entered the Amazon returns window went through . Be careful when purchasing similar items from Amazon stores. There doesn't seem to be a standard for quality and consistency.

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • boring packaging

Unsuccessful purchase

This flash seemed unreliable to me. It works about 30% of the time, so it's difficult for me to use it professionally. When it fires it's bright and I like its features but I can only assume the recycle speed is slower than the indicator light shows or I have a faulty flash because others are giving this flash good reviews. On the camera as the main flash and away from the camera as a slave, it works with 1/3 of the exposure. As cheap as it is, I still can't explain the purchase due to the poor

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Expensive

I can't say enough good things about the YN560 flashes

I can't say enough good things about the YN560 flashes. I've been using them since the very first model came out. Now I've read a lot of reviews about flashes that either don't fire or just burn out. I would like to say that I am a professional photographer and have used many different firing systems and flashes and for me this is the best value for money. For this reason I buy 4 new flashes every two years and always have 2 spare flashes in my bag. So far (knockstick) I haven't had any crap…

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Easy maintainability

Great light great performance great price

Bought this because I needed light, no debt. I use this 560 with another Yongnuo flash and connect them remotely with built in WiFi components. Ideal for rooms with ceilings under 10ft to reflect this light well (more flashes, slightly more distance allowed). I went back and forth on what new brand flashes to buy and decided that Yongnuo is smart because their remote triggers are so reasonable and the flashes have many strengths for the price. If Yongnuo can build and maintain a high level of…

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Fading

If you know what you're getting, it's amazing

First of all, most cameras do NOT meter through the lens (TTLM). That means they don't automatically adjust the power to ensure the right exposure, you have to set it yourself. Either take test shots or use the exposure meter to find out the flash setting. TTLM is good but not essential and for 95% of your lighting setups it won't be useful anyway. light settings etc (in other words you just want your shots to be brighter!) then this probably isn't the best flash. It can certainly be used that…

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel

  • Nothing

Not very happy Best in Camera & Photo

I bought this flash for my Canon Rebel T6. Seems well done. it looked good and it seemed to work. I've used Flash maybe 6 times in 11 months. I went to the flash and it didn't check for fire or flash when it was on camera. At that point, he also didn't connect to the Yongnuo remote transmitter I bought for him. I tried to contact the store that sold it through Revain but never got a response from them. I contacted Yongnuo and the factory in China fixed it for free, but I had to pay for the…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Works well when tried but then stops working even if not used much

I'll start by saying I already have a few of these flashes and they've turned out pretty good, although this one hasn't was So! When I got it I tried a few times with no more than 4 shots and it went fine. I didn't use it after that because, as I said, it will be a backup piece of equipment in my work. Yesterday when I had to use the flash at work a strong burning smell came out after 10 frames and when I turned it off I noticed it was smoke coming out of the battery compartment. Upon…

Pros
  • Hands free operation
Cons
  • Very expensive

Best value for money for flash photography.

As a professional commercial photographer, I was skeptical about using anything other than Nikon Speedlights for professional work, but I needed something lightweight that I could take with me on free shoots (promotional photos for a local theater company) that I set up the output quickly and control it remotely. I started with two YN560-III and they worked great with 603 triggers. Then I bought a YN560-TX and my life was instantly better. I no longer had to run to each flash and set the power…
