Review on ASUS Prime Z590-A LGA 1200 ATX Motherboard (Intel 11th/10th Gen, 14+2 DrMOS Power Stages, 3X M.2, Intel 2.5 Gb LAN, USB 3.2 Front Panel Type-C, Thunderbolt 4, Aura Sync RGB Lighting) by Iration Ahim

Good value for money

Paired with Intel 10900KF. Perfectly installed paired with a Scythe Mugen 6 heatpipe cooler with 120mm 2-stroke fans and running at all 10C / 20T at 5G with Prime stays at 63C. If you run air you need 6 heatpipes, to overclock this CPU. I have a little more leeway to experiment. I made a mistake, I wanted Wi-Fi on board but Model A doesn't include it so look at your options. Instead, I added a USB Wifi 6 adapter. The Crucial DDR4-4400 RAM I bought didn't go past DDR4-3200, so stay away from them. It's so expensive to pay for something that doesn't work. RAM typifies overclocking, they are all only overclocked to achieve the bus speeds needed for the basic operation of these processors, let alone overclocking.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors
