Good news, it works and does the job. The bad news is that it arrived damaged. It comes in its own box and was supposed to be shipped double boxed. One of the three mounting holes on the base was completely broken. Since shipping is a bit slow, I wanted to avoid the possibility of a return and exchange. Luckily I was able to install a washer to hold the motor in this broken mounting hole. If it's a newer truck, that would be totally unacceptable. After a certain age, however, you are no longer so picky about an old truck. With three mounting screws and a wire connector, the need for advanced mechanical skills is minimal. The difficulty is getting to the engine in this limited space. The price is good and if the engine performs well, it's worth it. If not, you can find out here.
