Not quite what I expected

I have a 2.25" Badge-A-Minit hand press. Tried making some badges and following BAM's steps, everything worked BUT the plastic covering did not wrap properly around the sides of the work and the work was not held properly Caps I will try to make a couple more but use a BAM pen with a CO-Z top and also a BAM Top with a CO-Z plastic pin on back to see if that helps, same goes for the plastic caps.
