Well I can tell you that water leaks and water damage are very, very stressful, lower your morale and lower your wallet because I've experienced a few water leaks. It doesn't matter what water warning device you use, you should have one. When the water leak alarm sounds and you close this valve immediately and save your cabinets or anything nearby, you'll thank yourself.
