I first bought this as a temporary blanket for my new horse until I could raise the money for a 'nicer' one. But this one is so beautiful I'm sold! I was concerned that the belly guard is just velcro but despite rain, mud, dirt and cleaning it still stays as strong as before. Sizing is very accurate my horse is 81-84 so I ordered 84 not to risk it and it's a bit big for him but adjustable enough that he still fits. Keeps flies from bothering my 17hh Irish Sport Horse and keeps my wallet happy!
