I don't know what I would use them for: fasteners, bearings, dowels instead of wood to fasten wood. It fits perfectly in my 5mm hole. Now that I've used them I'll be ordering a few more.

They are very well made. Furniture quality finishes, but they are very durable. I used them to add "latches" to the towel hooks and they look like they came with the brushed stainless steel towel hooks I started with.

Modified the night lock plate for the door by drilling a few holes to insert a pair of these pins to prevent the night lock from tripping easily be removed with a tool from the outside of the exterior doors, while still being easily removed from the inside in an emergency.

Just what I needed for the shelves where the rod holding the shelf is too short. They fit great and are durable. Multiple sizes and thicknesses provide many options

These are well made and fairly close to their nominal size making them easy to use. They are stainless steel but I don't know the exact alloy. They are very, very weakly magnetized and almost completely unresponsive to strong magnets. The steel is quite hard and doesn't scratch or scratch.

Product arrived on 12/12/2020 with a cracked body and multiple pins missing. Looks like I missed 20 contacts. (see photo) Didn't return as I need the pins now but disappointed I didn't get what I paid for.
