For a basic plastic white hook, these hold up pretty well. I use them in my closets to hang up things like belts or purses. I personally would not want these up in my family room or hallway as I would rather upgrade to a nicer looking hook. But these hooks certainly serve a purpose and really it's up the individual where they want to use them.I received box of 16 adhesive hooks and 5 additional adhesive plates in case I wish to move locations of a hook. The adhesive will stay in place the moment you apply it to the wall so do make sure you pick the exact spot you want it to put the hook ahead of time as you will not be able to remove the adhesive for the purpose of reusing it.Some of the adhesive plates fell out of the hook during transport but you can slide them in.
