I didn't want to burn my retinas in the middle of the night.
We recently bought a new house and the bathroom is in the middle of the house with no windows or skylights. I wanted a night light (so I didn't have to turn on the main light) that wasn't too bright. I found these blue light night lights and they work great. Even my wife is happy with it. I put the rest in different places in the house so we don't have to turn on the light at night. For example, when I released the dogs at half past two in the morning.
