Our washing machine was a bit "brutal" ie it shook during the spin cycle and wandered around the laundry room. It was also very noisy! All I had to do to get rid of the noise was shut the door to the laundry room, but walking around the room was a real problem, especially since it was so painful to clean up the mess that happened when the washing machine wandered so far that that Drain pipe came out of the wall and dripped soapy water all over the floor!These mugs solved that problem and were so inexpensive. Since the washers are heavy, installation was a bit tricky, but my husband and teenage son used a strong woven belt. They put the belt under the washing machine, and one person stood on each side of the washing machine. You pull the strap up to slightly raise the back of the washer and I quickly slide the two back shells into place. We then simply repeated the same thing with the two front legs as they used the strap to lift the front end of the washer. Although fairly quick and easy, it required three people and a riser. What I love most are these little mugs/coasters which are such an inexpensive solution! I'm really surprised how well they work considering our washing machine generates such strong vibrations. It has become quieter and the washing machine no longer wanders. I wish I had bought them years ago.
