Don't waste your time and money
Used on my drill press at the lowest possible speed, lots of chatter and very dirty holes. I've tried drilling pine boards with this drill bit, each hole about 1/2 inch deep. The first hole went smoothly, by the time I got to the fourth hole it was too boring to finish. I doubt it's carbide.
