Washing hands with this SoftSoap lasts LONG! It's impossible to take everything off. It leaves its odor and slimy residue on your hands no matter how long you try to wash it off. The smell is mild and only irritates those who are sensitive to smells. It's not a bad scent. It just annoys me. It makes your hands SOFT because it leaves marks on your hands. Even if your hands are thoroughly washed, it leaves a SOFT feel (which many would probably prefer, but I didn't buy it for that). I bought it to remove bacteria from my hands and to have a handy PUMP function. I will use Ajax antibacterial dishwashing liquid to remove bacteria from my hands. And I will use Joy dish soap if I want to spend less than 5 minutes on a simple hand wash. Joy leaves no residue and rinses off quickly.
