I struggled with high idle on my 87 V10 for years. It's always 1000-1400 at idle. I changed IAC, TPS, gearbox, new nozzles, restored the TBR, I even got a new box 350. Finally I saw an old topic about the need to tune the chip. Since this isn't 1995, this wasn't easy. I decided to buy this chip and hope it works. Of course, the truck worked amazingly, maybe. The idle corresponds to the factory specifications. The truck drives and sounds much better. I wish I had bought it 3 years ago. It would have saved me money on all the details I threw on it.
