Review on Muskoka Curved Front Mount Fireplace Black by Phil Kuebler

This is a highly unreliable product. Customer service is good but not very good at listening to problems. I originally purchased from Costco in 2012. lasted almost 10 years. I was so pleased with my purchase that I purchased a replacement from Revain. (December 17, 2017) Unfortunately, the exchange didn't even last a year. GHP Group happily replaced it with two units that didn't work (almost a month). Then one that worked for another season. I just plugged it in for the first time this season and it caught fire and smoked. Upon inspection, it turned out that the main circuit board had burned out (see photo). Now these devices are only approved for one year? If so, shouldn't they cost less? Can my block be replaced? Is there another block it can be replaced with? This proved to be extremely unreliable. They said it was no longer covered by the warranty.
