This fluffy blanket has two sets of soft black cords in the back to secure the bed to the bars. The medium size (8 inches) is perfect for cockatiels or kennels. I have a Nandai Hut that likes to snuggle up to her Cozy Corner, but unfortunately also likes to gnaw on the cords on her back. If you have a small destructive bird like mine, it will probably get done with these strings quickly. Also, the strings are slick and slippery and I usually have to double or even triple knot them to keep them tied. Would be a 5 star product if there was a better way to attach the blanket to the cage.
