The best goal for kids! Measure the opening, order the passage grille in the required size. We got gates from 62" to 67" for our 65" opening, which was perfect. We also have wall nannies for extra protection and stability, so extra space was key to installing wall nannies that added an extra inch. It is not easy for children to open the gate latch, but it is easy for adults to open it with one hand while holding a child, or with their hands full. The gate door actually stays open at 90 degrees when placed and it actually closes and locks itself behind you, which is amazing and convenient! - The structure of the gate, even if the gate closes behind you and the child is right there, it is exciting, it is designed not to pinch the child's fingers when it closes quickly by itself. -- a very nice feature. I LOVE these goals! Definitely worth your money!
