Review on Ovente Portable Glass Kettle 1.5L: Fast Heating Countertop Tea Maker with Blue LED Light, Auto Shut-Off & Boil Dry Protection - Stainless Steel Base (White KG83W) by Andre Motko

This kettle is amazing. I would give FIVE stars if the product didn't fail after 1 year 4 months. Basically it would come to a boil, then turn off automatically (expected), but then take about a week to turn it back on, then turn off again (painfully) a month at a time. The problem lasted for a few months before I called customer service. The customer service representatives were very responsive and knowledgeable. When someone calls customer service about a recent issue, it's usually not uncommon to have to tell their "story" repeatedly: this is not the case with Ovente customer service, as the ticket tracking system is absolutely exceptional. Sympathy was also quite high when I said that I thought it would be nice to have spare parts (like a base or shifter) instead of filling up a landfill. I don't know if my situation is a one-time problem. In writing this review, I hope that the Ovente product development team will receive this feedback. Ovente has all its problems with this product (it's so light and easy to use!) - you just have to solve this specific problem. To be honest whatever it takes to improve the product I would pay more for it. I love it. Please fix it and you'll have a kettle that rocks.
