My little one loves this backpack. I think he will grow up very well with her too. I like bright colors. It looks durable and the straps make it grow. It is lightweight and has a front strap like a backpack. When excited, she will run away and the leash will land her on her butt. I don't really see that as a problem. There are worse ways to land and she will learn to stay close. It gives me more peace of mind walking down the boardwalk or in places where it might disappear (like the airport). She likes to carry food and water with her. A school bag I guess, but for everyday use it's perfect.
