If you are an amateur and are going to buy this camera - think about it and decide what is more important to you: 4k video and a touch screen or the ability to shoot decently in poor lighting? If the latter is still more important, take the nikon d610 or d750. They are better in this regard. Different pros: I went to the shooting and, due to my own inattention, I forgot to take the bag with the d600. A colleague had a d7500, I had to shoot part of the shooting day on it. I photographed for about four hours, then processed the photo. I shot everything in manual settings, because I donβt trust automation. Pros: 4k video - good Flip-down display and decent autofocus in live view. 51 focus points as on older models. good ergonomics. With its cons. Disgusting noises. Already at ISO 400 (!) a noticeable grain appears. I am silent about ISO > 1000. I was surprised, because on the d600 1000 is quite acceptable, 1500 is quite choking in the lightroom. From the first point comes poor detail at high ISO. If you want to shoot in the absence of light - take a full frame. Not very tenacious autofocus in low light. Shooting in bad conditions - use additional light or focus manually. One slot for a flash drive. Yes, this is an amateur segment, but even a 12-year-old d3s has two flash drives. High price and low liquidity. A camera of this price range is so difficult to sell, but given the amateur segment and crop, you are unlikely to sell it quickly and for the same money. Not very fast autofocus in video, but no one takes nikons for video.
