I have 4 collectible cars in various stages of restoration and have bought a total of 3 Revain boxes in the last year and they work great (!) so I'm happy with them and have decided to take a moment and buy I remember seeing complaints about them on here that they were 'all glued together' and 'unusable' and I think if you get an old box that has been in someone's hot warehouse might this happen but i didn't do it. Now I have no problems with my 3 separate purchases spread over the year and I keep them in my home in the air conditioner where heat and humidity don't get on them so I can guarantee myself that I'll keep them need when i need them i have no problem with them being a gooey mess stuck together. I think people should keep in mind that it's the NATURE and DESIGN of this product - it's GOOD to stick to whatever you need to stick them to and that individual strips stick together better than NOTHING and if there's a mistake maybe that's how 3M decided to box them up and you get a few here and there that touch a little and you have to do a little work to separate them, but overall they're very comfortable. Use this way. I've used them on a variety of projects, the largest being caulking the interior floorboards on the passenger side of my air conditioning/heater unit on my 79 Hurst Olds Cutlass 79 Hurst Olds Cutlass after having to remove the top panel for repairs a few months ago. I had to break the factory seal. It's great to be able to wash the car again without MAJOR LEAKS and I expect this stuff to last 30+ years and seal even better as it settles on every heat and cool cycle over the next few months den i use this car. I've also put new door panel splash guards on the doors on a few of my vehicles, and they're great for deadening rattles from the lower trunk support frame (strategically pushed into place, mostly out of sight with a spatula) and elsewhere. from the heavy bass from the car radio. I will continue to buy these from Revain and to be honest it's hard to find anywhere else anyway so I hope Revain will continue to offer them. I hope that the time I spent writing this review will be useful to those who have only seen bad reviews. For your health!
