It's really just a flexible piece of plastic with three points for an original strap, I don't understand why it's $20. It's not particularly clunky and doesn't have any special features or gimmicks. SO SAID it's extremely useful, it makes the strap fit better and more firmly on the head, adds a bit of counterweight to the headset, spreads the pressure on the back of the head and actually doesn't look too bad. This thing alone raised the standard strap from 3/10 to 6/10, maybe 7. Greatly reduces headset wobble and helps prevent that VR experience. in my face. I think this padding needs a really big improvement, maybe some snags in the design to protect the backup battery or maybe just increase the weight of the build a bit to balance it out a bit more. However, being a cheap piece of plastic, I guess I don't have too many complaints.
