When I first tried this product I thought it wasn't for me. Then I noticed that the Oculus 2's arms move so you can adjust them for a better fit. Once I've done that and my arms are angled up, this product helps cradle the back of my head for better support. Now I am happy with this product and will keep it.

This back strap for the standard Quest 2 makes wearing the headset more comfortable for long periods of time. By distributing force and pressure over a larger area along the back of the skull, pressure points and general discomfort are relieved at both the front and rear contact points. It's really just a flexible piece of plastic with three points for an original strap, I don't understand why it's $20. It's not particularly clunky and doesn't have any special features or gimmicks. This headband worked great on my Quest 2 because I'm one of the rare people who prefer the stock Quest 2 headband - because I fixed Quest's main problem as soon as I got it. All VR headsets are unbalanced - all the weight is in the front and nothing makes up for that except tight straps and cups that put pressure on your head.
