Review on Razer Blade 14 Gaming Laptop by Jason Martinez

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Brand new Razer Blade 14 with broken mousepad

I got this gem but as soon as I turned it on I found the trackpad was very choppy and uncontrollable. I tried reloading the drivers by updating Windows and Synapse and restarting the whole computer, but I still couldn't use the trackpad. I also called support, just told me everything I've tried... I connected a mouse and was able to play normally without any problems. I was very impressed by the little monster. Also big size. I just wish the Ryzen processor was in the 15" variant, because the only thing the 14" lacks in my opinion is an SD slot and additional SSD space (which the 15" blade has ). 17 and I honestly think 15 up front is the best spot. Honestly, I'd probably keep the 14" if it fulfilled either of my two wishes. I'm not a fan of dongles or external SSDs at all. I prefer my drives to be as clean as possible. I'm disappointed in Razer and would advise anyone to get the $300 plan for 1-2 years It drives me crazy how a new $2300 computer can have box issues and the battery on my last 2019 Razer laptop ($2500 + insurance ) is empty after 2 years? I love this company but am disappointed with my purchases.
