The updated design corrects the imperfections of the original design, but check the dimensions beforehand!

Definitely a better design than the original. BUT - mine was installed on my wakesetter '06 and the top mount is different than before. So that is the reason for the 4 stars. It would be nice to be told beforehand that there is a replacement so you don't take everything apart and then find you have to run to the parts store to get another knee. At least they fixed the broken part that cracks, leaks and squirts water everywhere.
