I wanted this item for my desk so I can work on my small laptop a little higher than my desktop allows so the screen is perfectly at eye level. I also wanted it to be tilted up a bit instead of being completely flat. This product serves its purpose but has a few problems: a) Unless you have your innermost "arm" stretched out reasonably, you will not be able to attach the mouse tray. That was one of the reasons I ordered it, it has a mouse tray. b) There is nothing to stop the lower arm sitting on the desktop from scratching your desktop (mine is wooden). I managed to scratch the desktop while trying to adjust my settings. It also makes the product a bit unstable - it moves easily on the desk. I need to buy some kind of rubber grip product to tighten the forearms. I've already put a strip of tape along the bottom arm to stop it scratching my desk surface. I was expecting some sort of rubberized feet on the bottom to keep it from sliding on surfaces, but there was none of that. c) The levers themselves aren't the sturdiest and don't necessarily sit flat on my desk, so there's some wobble when using the product. I had to cradle something under one hand to make it less wobbly, but combined with what I wrote in point "b" above, the object keeps slipping while typing and you have to pull the object back toward you. So there can be improvements in this product, but I think I should make them myself.
