Review on 🎬 Punch-Drunk Love on VHS by Gelin Battle

When I first saw this movie I hated it. I didn't know what the hell was going on. It was uncomfortable watching the main character because I didn't understand what his problem was. Just happened. But then I looked at it again. And it was different. It's a beautiful and strange story about a depressed man with suppressed anger who meets the love of his life and has to fight to keep her safe when a sex worker on the phone starts threatening him with physical violence if he doesn't get all his money hands over . . It's an odd film that can and will definitely turn people off, I can say that for sure. But for those willing to sit down and see the cinematic genius' first attempt at a love story, with very humorous moments, artful transitions and a great soundtrack, plus a really good performance by Adam Sandler, this is a watch worth watching.
