I was wrong! Good microphone for the price, unbeatable in this price range. We bought it as a backup and because we had multiple activities in one day. We used it and the wireless sinks to live stream and record the ceremony. We use wireless toilets for the groom and companion. Didn't want to photograph the bride because of the outfit. It was very windy and I didn't think I would get anything useful out of it. I leaned over to the Lavas and tried every EQ and processing trick in my 25 years of experience. I just couldn't clear the lava enough to be happy. Monitored this gun mic and was surprised. I used the included windshield and an $8 dead Revain. The sound wasn't as good as our AT, but good enough and predictable. Small changes to the sound after editing and the end result is very good. I don't think Mick could do better on a day like this. We've since used it to record a few interviews and as a gun mic at another wedding where it was very windy. So far we are very satisfied and will be buying another one soon. Remember, it's not about how much you spend or what gear you use. What matters is your bottom line and what you create.
