Review on 🐢 Turtle Creek Farm, Inc. Stock Tank Secret - Brown (Size: 9" x 7") by Joi Thomas

So I ordered this for my self-filling water bowl for my chickens. We have 48 chicks and a 33 gallon automatic waterer. We dumped it about a month ago and no algae! Yes, at first it swam around the top of the barrel, but after a while it settled to the bottom. The chickens don't seem to notice the water quality. The only thing I do is pour out a small bowl of water when I let it out in the morning and the new water (from the barley barrel) fills the bowl. I fill the keg when it's low and I never have to flush it out. Previously I had to dump a 33 gallon keg every 2 days because the water was slimy. I will definitely buy more of these. Update: Today is October 30th, this bale still works! No algae, no growth on the trunk, this is simply a wonderful product! I built a second watering trough so I'm going to buy another bale. Thought I'd add an update while I'm here. Buy this, you won't regret it.
