Update 05/10/2020: The charging port is broken AGAIN. light is useless. I find it necessary to say that I do not know how to use the charger properly. I have several different devices that I charge, many of them on a daily basis. I have no problem with lights other than these, even with a fixture that is almost ten years old. So disappointed and frustrated that I'm throwing out a DIFFERENT light. I'm taking that down to 2 stars. Update 11/22/19: Much to my boys delight, the seller contacted me and sent me a new Lumi Pet. This one holds a charge much better than the first one. The charging connector is incredibly tough so I'm afraid it'll break again, but so far so good. Update 10/19/19: I'm deducting two stars as both the ones I bought are broken. There was a charging port for each. I took it off myself this morning and tonight it kind of broke so I can't plug it in to charge and the full charge in the morning is completely gone. The price has gone up again so I won't be buying a third Lumi Pet. Update 10/12/19: My 4 year old still loves this light. He uses it as a lantern to take to his strongholds and he still wants to be in the room he shares with his little brother every night. When fully charged it lasts the night but not the second night. I just leave it on all the time. Update 3/29/19: This is still important for my baby who is now 3.5 years old. He likes to choose a color every night (is it pink or something else!). We are currently using the second as the pins inside the charging port are broken. The second cannot be charged for multiple nights like the first (one night on a full charge) so making sure it's plugged in overnight is imperative. If not, and he wakes up in the middle of the night, he'll burst into tears! Original Review: My 2 year old started waking up in the middle of the night and crying every night. I began to wonder if he had become afraid of the dark. The day we got it I was hanging out with him and playing with him in his room because let's be serious: this night light not only glows, it changes color too, lots of colors! It is soft and can be crushed. He had to be played with. He slept through the first night in his room and every night since. This night light is a miracle worker and I would give it 10 stars if I could. The ONLY downside is that it changes modes very well. So when I set it to color and dimming, my son just taps it. and change modes. Luckily, the remote control makes it incredibly easy to go back. Once the bear's novelty is gone, he leaves him alone almost every night.
