I ordered these because there were some snow storms in the Seattle area so I got stuck in the snow and couldn't get to the store when I ran out of detergent. Decided to give it a try as I spilled liquid and powder in my garage and made quite a mess. Wow! That's great! Not only are they so easy to throw in the washing machine, they wash SO well and everything smells so great! Everything feels so soft even when it's wet from washing! I'm amazed at how well these tiny sachets clean compared to a large spoonful of detergent - powder or liquid. I have ferrets and their bedding gets REALLY musky even though I change everything once a week. Even the linens are perfectly clean and musky-free – just that deliciously fresh scent of Gain. Yes, they cost more than liquid powder, but we're talking about a quarter charge. I'm a single person so if I do a few uploads a week it's less than a dollar. The convenience is worth it And the cleaning powder is worth it. I'll see how long they last and can set up auto delivery so I never run out. The only drawback is the childproof lid. I don't have kids so it annoys me that the lid is so difficult to open. I think what I'm going to do is just put them in a ziplock bag and put the rest of the container on the shelf. TRY YOU!
