I was satisfied on first inspection but after 1 HAND wash the coating on the ladle (silver) I was using started to peel off! I didn't let it soak in water or anything so I was very surprised that this happened. For me it's a big deal. I haven't used black yet, so I don't know if it only applies to silver. I don't want this granola falling in my ice cream! I think I'll grind the shovel handle and see where it goes. Otherwise sturdy little blades.
