Great use but the black color is starting to peel off the ice cream

These caps freeze well, scoop well and are a good overall product. My big complaint is that our ice cream has changed color. I don't mind if they were stained or wouldn't buy them. Don't get me wrong it was a great deal but we use it for our little ice cream shop and chipped paint on ice is never good! I missed the return window and unfortunately I can't return it for my money ๐Ÿ˜•

Do not expose to temperatures above 140ยฐF. Then how can it be washed in the dishwasher?

Ordered these ice cream scoops based on the overall positive reviews. However, when I received them, I noticed that the back said they should not be exposed to temperatures over 140ยฐF. Then how can it be dishwasher safe? My tap water can reach 160ยฐF. If I have a cup of hot water to warm up a scoop when serving ice cream, how does that work? Unfortunately I think this should be returned.

Durable BUT. Suitable for kitchen and dining room

I was satisfied on first inspection but after 1 HAND wash the coating on the ladle (silver) I was using started to peel off! I didn't let it soak in water or anything so I was very surprised that this happened. For me it's a big deal. I haven't used black yet, so I don't know if it only applies to silver. I don't want this granola falling in my ice cream! I think I'll grind the shovel handle and see where it goes. Otherwise sturdy little blades.

Great little spoons!

They work great and dispense ice cream very well. Partly because of the non-stick coating, partly because the scoops are a bit narrower, which means the ice cream doesn't "stick" as much and still picks up the perfect scoop of good product! One of my scoops was damaged, but once I provided a photo of the damage (a scratch or manufacturing defect on the inside of the non-stick scoop), I received a refund for that portion of my order. Timely customer service and great product except for oneโ€ฆ

The shovel is smaller than expected. After a month, the coating peels off. Crap

I used the spoon twice. Both times it was easy to scoop out the cone. However, the scoop portion is quite small, so be prepared to take a few scoops to get an idea of what a regular Kegel might look like. I've only used it twice, saving a cone each time. I'm not sure what I'll enjoy when I have to scoop ice cream for the family as there's a lot to scoop. I had no problems with that. It was based on a silver shovel. Haven't tried black yet, but they look the same. I can get another big spoonโ€ฆ
