Do not expose to temperatures above 140°F. Then how can it be washed in the dishwasher?

Ordered these ice cream scoops based on the overall positive reviews. However, when I received them, I noticed that the back said they should not be exposed to temperatures over 140°F. Then how can it be dishwasher safe? My tap water can reach 160°F. If I have a cup of hot water to warm up a scoop when serving ice cream, how does that work? Unfortunately I think this should be returned.
