I used the spoon twice. Both times it was easy to scoop out the cone. However, the scoop portion is quite small, so be prepared to take a few scoops to get an idea of what a regular Kegel might look like. I've only used it twice, saving a cone each time. I'm not sure what I'll enjoy when I have to scoop ice cream for the family as there's a lot to scoop. I had no problems with that. It was based on a silver shovel. Haven't tried black yet, but they look the same. I can get another big spoon when we can go shopping again. Well for those who like to eat smaller portions as far as ice cream goes this might be a good idea.
