Review on 🥤 PARACITY Stainless Insulated Tumbler: The Perfect Beverage Companion by Kyle Robinson

At first I found only one downside to this mug, but that's the deciding factor for me. PRO: Looks great! Shape and color are wonderful. This is the perfect size for my single brew coffee maker I've been looking for. It also fits nicely in my car's cup holder. There are other cup holders in my car where it won't fit because of the handle, but it fits the cup holder I use for mugs with handles. It is well isolated. I have insulated drink containers of the same size that are much better, but that's what I expected. Drinking with or without a lid is very convenient. Compared to all travel mugs I own, this one seems to be the most comfortable without a lid. I think this is because the rim mimics the shape and size of nicely tapered ceramic coffee mugs. The lid is also easy to open/close and drink comfortably without leaking. MINUS: The lids are very easy to remove. The very first and last time I used this in my car, the lid came off when I put the mug down while sitting inside. As I was carrying other things I needed to store, I reached out to put my coffee in the cup. As I dipped my hand into the car, I held the cup straight. At the same time, the edge of the lid touched part of my hand and immediately bounced off. It was a disaster. After cleaning everything, I checked the lid several times and the slightest touch on the side of the lid makes it bounce. This nicely tapered rim is not designed to hold the lid securely. This can only happen with hot coffee, which causes more pressure in the cup. If this is the case, keeping the spout open can help, but there would be no point in covering anything while I get in the car or go to work. Because of this design flaw, while it's a good mug, I wouldn't call it a travel mug.
