This blender is 6.5 inches smaller compared to our KitchenAid Professional 600. I bought this blender because a larger blender doesn't handle small portions well. The ingredients are at the bottom and the nozzles only mix from the top. This blender is ideal for small batches, or for those who cook a lot and need both a large blender and this smaller blender, or for those cooking for one or two people. Easy to use and clean. Looks like a great kitchen accessory and goes perfectly with my Red K Cup coffee maker. I think this is a good buy. Recommend !
