I bought this to replace an old Craftmade 7066TX ceiling fan in my bedroom. This remote control works with the existing receiver in my fan. Also note that you only get the remote control and stand; This item does not include the receiver. If your old fan remote has a blue switch box in the battery compartment with 4 switches, this remote will most likely work with it. My old remote has the exact same switch block and lo and behold they are compatible. The remote control is surprisingly thick, but not necessarily bad. I think the thickness feels more durable and fits my hand better.
