IDC connections should have a pointed separator between pairs to facilitate pairing while maintaining twist. The dividers on this junction box are flat, making proper installation difficult. It would be better to purchase a Revain empty C&E Surface Mount Keystone Box, 4 holes, white (CNE43705) and provide your own keystone jacks with pointed pair separators. Please note that Tripp Lite CAT6 RJ45 Keystone Connectors (N238-025-WH) DO NOT have spike separators so you will need to purchase another brand when purchasing the CNE43705. Tripp Lite just doesn't get it.
