Pros: The size ordered fits my waist very well and is adjustable so they still fit when I lose weight. The mesh lets cool air in. A small area of hard fabric on the inside of the leg protects the leg from engine heat. A zipper on the inside of the leg makes it easier to put on and take off the riding boots. Disadvantages: uncomfortable position of the knee pads. The pocket is adjustable, but not enough to improve the position of the knee pad. When sitting on the bike, the pads can be pulled up to get into the correct position, but when standing and walking, the top of the pad rubs against the underside of the kneecap, which is very uncomfortable. I have another pair of mesh breeches made by another company and they don't have this issue with the knee pads.
