*Update for 3 months* Does what it says - Better paint needed

*Update for 3 months* I wanted to update my original review after 3 months of use with this stick. My first conclusions are still valid, a few points are worth noting.* The racquet saves me an average of 2-3 shots per round. My index fell to reflect this. Very satisfied.* Hopper usage is still good, however difficult to control exact distance with this stick. This can leave an 8-10 foot residual bump. On a positive note, not a single shot has been fired in the bunker for the last 3 months.* Hitting from thin lies in bunkers (ie unknown, almost no sand) is still brutal. This club is not very helpful there. Shots still fly far or over the greens.* The swing weight of the club is quite heavy. There's a lot of metal in the head. However, remote control was good everywhere except in the bunkers. I just don't want to spend so much time working on them. First Rating: (For reference, my current USGA Index is 10.7) Our bunkers in this area have variable sand. Some of them are tightly packed, some are almost dirty while others are boring, and some have an awful 1/4-inch slab of sand under the ball. For me, these conditions are too difficult to adjust and cost me a lot of shots due to inconsistent play/bunker conditions. Also, we have a lot of tight lies within 50 yards of the greens. I currently have inserts from Cleveland, Titleist Vokey and Callaway in my bag. There is now a C3i replacing the 60^ Vokey. Two game partners bought this C3i wedge before me. I've given them enough mockery of this stick to fill a small bunker. Well I finally tried one of them. It was 65^. I threw a few balls in the bunker and tried a few different lies. To my chagrin, hitting the shots was too easy. My stomach was starting to ache from all the crow I was eating. Sheets. The balls just popped out of the hoppers as you square and hit about 1 inch into the back of the ball. Then I tried to hit from a narrow fairway. Again, 90% of the casts were easier than with the standard 10° rebound wedge. Also, these grooves made the balls bite more than my new Cleveland RTX4 wedge. I bought a C3i 59^ wedge as my 65^ buddies were too big. I had to hit the ball too hard to get it past 15 yards. I found the 59^ to perform well on my initial short practice shot tests. I'll give this wedge more time and see how it performs. The biggest flaw I've found so far is that the leading edge (see picture) of the racquet has already lost its color after 30-40 practice shots on the first day. Not good. I will try to update this review later. Hope that helps!
