Review on πŸ‘Ÿ Stride Rite Sneaker Truffle: Stylish and Comfy Shoes for Toddler Boys by Ryan Gilliam

Ideal for toddlers with wide feet

I was skeptical about buying these shoes because of the elastic laces. My son has swollen feet which I noticed as a baby and I have never been able to get his feet into any of the shoes with these laces which are 90% of children and toddler shoes. So we mainly chose shoes with velcro where you can make the hole wider and control the pressure on your foot by adjusting the velcro. But even with them there are only a few models with a wide width and I was tired of buying him the same shoes over and over again, so I decided to try these on because the brand cares about the right fit and they offer plus sizes. They actually fit my 2.5 year old surprisingly well. I have no problem putting them on or taking them off. He doesn't have the vocabulary yet to tell me how he feels, but the insoles are really soft and he seems comfortable in them. He walks normally in clothes and I don't see any red marks on his legs when I take them off. They feel good and look a little better than traditional athletic shoes. The only thing that isn't great is the price, but I sincerely think the quality should support the higher price. It only stinks because they outgrow them so quickly at that age, but any shoe that doesn't hurt my feet is an asset to us. I also bought them new in an open box which helped to compensate for the shock of the sticker. He walks normally in clothes and I don't see any red marks on his legs when I take them off.
