This may be different on larger Surface devices, but this adapter is blocking the USB-C port on my Surface Go 2, defeating the purpose of this adapter ( because you can just plug it into a USB-C charger directly into the Surface - I bought this device to free up a USB-C port). When I flip the way the adapter plugs into the socket on my Surface, the USB-C port is unlocked, but it's large enough when the USB-C cable is plugged into this adapter that I need to lay my surface flat. Will my Surface Go 2 charge? Yes. But I'm holding my breath, bringing this back and grabbing one of the other adapter styles.
