As advertised. Works well at different voltages. Bought 4 of these lamps. After a dyno test (28 volt draws just under 1 amp) I found that the COLOR of the light was in the 6000K+ range, too blue for my needs, but the base was just what I needed for my outdoor lighting project. I bought a bag of 5 watt 4000K chips (you need 4 per light), removed the chips that came with this light and replaced them with 4000K chips. I LOVE the heatsink that the chips are attached to, it's heavy and more adequate for dissipating heat from the LED chips. (I added more heatsinks to allow the new chips to dissipate 5 watts of heat through the heatsink). When I mounted them outside I found that they were ALL LEAKED OUT! Rainwater has accumulated in EVERY lens! I glued the lens to the bezel to prevent future leakage. Since then we have weathered numerous storms and hurricanes (Irma) without leaks. Based on the lessons learned I will buy them again.
