Basically I needed a camera for my Ford F150 to align the hitch ball with the trailer. After reading many reviews of different products, I settled on the Amtifo AM-W70. It features a 7-inch monitor that plugs into the cigarette lighter and a license plate camera that easily plugs into the reversing light. There are two small clamps that are used to connect the two reverse light wires. This thing can be fully connected in about 30 minutes. They link to a YouTube video showing how to test the device before connecting and how the clamps work. The camera mount is hidden behind the license plate so you only see the camera at the top center of the license plate.You just need to remove the tail light and connect the red wire to the positive terminal and the black wire to the negative terminal on the rear light and hide the wires behind the bumper/under the car. There is a power switch on the cigarette lighter plug for the monitor. As soon as you turn the car on backwards, the image appears on the monitor. This is a very clear image and there are no jumps This is a very smooth, real-time image your vehicle's width etc. These can also be disabled. There are adjustments for brightness, contrast, saturation and you can flip the image. The signal is very strong and I have an F150 cab. (Some wireless backup cameras don't work on long vehicles.) The camera can be adjusted up or down, and even when it's fully adjusted to see the towball, you still have a great view of everything behind the car. I was messing around with setting up the guides, accidentally clicked the link feature and lost the image. I couldn't pair the camera and monitor together again. I contacted amtifo via the customer support email in the manual and they replied to me with detailed instructions on how to solve my problem and it worked great. I am very happy with the response from the support team! This camera works very well and meets my needs perfectly. Revain had a coupon discount which made the price great. Received in two days.
