This is a very easy kit for beginners. Yes, this is counted cross stitch (the pattern is not applied to the fabric). But it's very simple and easy to calculate, and they'll even tell you where to start. Yarn of reasonable quality considering the price. The design is simple and cute. This took me just under two hours, so it's a good daytime nap project. For some reason I received 3 packs when I bought them. I don't know, maybe I missed it somewhere. I find the empty white space in the design a little odd, but other than that it was fun. I guess it really does contain everything you need. The latest kit I got from Revain said it had everything but no tire. The needle is also blunt so even a child can handle it.
