I bought this product to add color to a brown leather sofa and chair. I used the entire 8.5 ounce can on the couch and chair. I was pretty happy with the result at first but after a few days my 2 year old son was drooling with his head on the couch and the spot where he was drooling made a light spot on the couch. A brown tint also appeared on his face. I then decided to test what would happen if I wiped the couch down with a damp cloth. I was able to remove all of the paint from the sofa and chair by wiping with a damp cloth. The manufacturer claims that it doesn't wash out of clothing, but that's not the case. How easily the paint was removed with a damp cloth is evidence that if you sit on the couch and put on a damp/sweaty shirt/pants the paint will come off the clothes. I would NOT recommend this product.
