Pros: Consistently high sharpness and low chromatic aberration across the entire focal length and from center to edge; waterproof, durable; inner orientation; slight vignetting with Pentax 1.4x teleconverter. Cons: Not as sharp as Canon or Sony 70-200 f/2.8 lens; no image stabilization (although that's not actually the case with IBIS on the K-1). I use it for close-up shots of wildlife and landscapes where I need a little more range.
